Book reviews

Maybe you like to read crime fiction. Maybe you like fantasy fiction. Maybe you're into romance. Whatever genre you enjoy, you can't help but just babble about it all the time. Isn't it right?

You finished a good mystery. You were stupefied by the plot twist. The end was pleasurable. Everyone got what they deserved. Now when you close your book, don't you want someone to just listen to you while you rant about your book as if its (gollum's voice) "my precious".

But the point is no one listens. I mean they do try but they have not experienced it first hand and cannot possibly understand that we are excited about two fictional characters finally getting married. (I am no longer talking about that previous mystery)

That's where reviews come for me. When you're done reading the book, read the reviews and bask in the enthusiasm of other readers who have enjoyed the book just like you did.

Although they also help you to decide what you wanna read next by giving you synopsis and telling you what readers felt after reading it. I don't read reviews before reading the book. It's always good to read the plot yourself but sometimes a well written review can make you read a book with an ugly cover or hideous title.

One of my secret hobbies is reading 1 star reviews of books on Goodreads. Trust me all the time I have wasted reading those reviews was actually my therapy session. Ah, nothing better than a jade review written by an annoyed reader at the end of a horrible day. They seriously make you laugh.

Although I highly doubt my reviews are that hilarious, they still are pretty much...readable. Maybe you could give them a look!

Happy reading!
