The story is narrated by Captain Hastings who witnesses the murder of Emily Inglethorp at the Styles.
Poirot is invited to solve the baffling case, a seemingly locked room mystery. All the suspects are equally suspicious and have a perfect motive and their own dark secrets. The suspects include Emily's much younger husband, her embittered sons, a family friend nurse, and acquaintance.
Without a doubt this might be one of the best Christie Mysteries because no matter how many modern day thrillers you have read, you cannot guess how this classic ends.
The plot twist is bewildering and will have readers gasping and jumping on their feet. I bet you will never see the twist coming. Neither you can guess who actually murdered Emily Inglethorp.
