Book review: Love from A to Z

After getting suspended from school, Zainab is sent to Doha to live with her Aunt for a couple of weeks. After getting diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Adam drops out of school and returns home to Doha to pursue his skills.

That's where our journey of Marvels and Oddities begins.

As a hot headed, ardent and zealous Zainab faces harsh realities and deals with the onerous problems of racism, Islamophobia and race baiting, she comes across Adam.

Adam, calm , cool and gentle and modest, who is grieving the death of his mother and mustering courage to confront his own illness, meets Zainab.

Before the novel begins, the writer warns you:

This is a love story.

You've been warned.

And to be honest, each and every single sentence of the book radiated with such positive and fresh aura. Sure, it was a love story but a rational one and realistic one. Bonus; the book also deals with the trauma of losing a loved one and coping without them.

Overall seeing such a great and on the point representation of Muslims in a YA book was just enchanting. Moreover the book offered a bit of everything, romance, drama, sad vibes and angry ones. For everyone who loves YA, this is a must read!!!!

"This too shall pass. Life goes on. Even if love doesn't".
