Farewell

 Today a thought struck me,

Of a strange familiar place.

I remembered you in an instant,

My bright and beautiful days.

I thought i had forgotten you;

But you were in my mind.

Under my messy tangled thoughts,

In some corner left behind.

I will remember you like a secret;

Though soon I'll be gone.

I will hold you in my heart forever;

Like the sweet melody of a song.
