Kiera Cass creates the scenarios that seem impossible to imagine outside our mind palaces yet I cannot be more possibly thrilled by anything except her new book.
King Jameson has finally chosen a bride, the radiant, Lady Hollis Bright. And everything is going in the best way possible in the kingdom of Coroa. But things take a wierd turn when a refugee from Isolte steals the heart of Hollis unexpectedly.
Just when a happy ending seems obvious, the book takes a turn and the reader ends up crying.
But don't worry the second book in the duology is much better because personally I think Etan Northcourt "can" compete with Maxon Schreave.( The Selection)
The duology ends with the complete demise of King Jameson (rather iconic and stupid end he suffered) and of course an imaginable and impossible kind of happy ending. ( Because it's Kierra Cass)
That's what I like about Kiera Cass. The endings are happy and the stories are simple and light hearted.
(P.S: Personally I think The Selection was the best)
"The game of court will put you into an early grave if you let yourself be swept up in them."
